Are you interested in honing your fundraising or leadership skills? Are you passionate about helping young girls learn about technology? Consider joining our volunteer Leadership Team! We currently have these positions open:
Responsible for managing and processing income and expenses for the chapter. Ideally someone who has experience managing non-profit finances.
Expected Commitments: 2-4 hours/week.
Responsible for researching and building relationships with potential donors, organizing fundraising events, and recommending and implementing fundraising strategies and goals.
Expected Commitments: 2-4 hours/week, availability to attend meetups/local conferences/avenues for networking with donors, occasional flexibility to attend calls/meetings, attend weekly team meetings.
Responsible for community outreach including letting the Corvallis community know about all the great things we’re doing and asking for their support to succeed. This includes maintaining our website, social media, and newsletters.
Expected commitments: 2-4 hours/week, flexibility to attend events as relevant to help promote ChickTech, attend weekly team meetings.
Responsible for ensuring participants, their parents, and their teachers understand the program, what is expected of them and what they should expect the program to provide. This includes identifying and developing relationships with area schools.
Expected commitment: 2-4 hours/week, availability to attend meetup/local conferences/avenues for networking and recruiting mentors, occasional flexibility to attend calls/meetings, attend weekly team meetings.
Responsible for coordinating any logistics necessary to ensure events run smoothly, including catering, site setup, and transportation.
Expected commitment: 2-4 hours/week, availability during workshop days, occasional flexibility to attend calls with workshop trainers, attend weekly team meetings.
Responsible for soliciting volunteers from our local tech community. Ideally this is someone with connections to Corvallis area tech companies.
Expected commitment: 2-4 hours/week, flexibility to attend events as relevant to train, manage and recruit volunteers with our other volunteer coordinator, attend weekly team meetings.
